Leeds Bradford Electricians was founded by Harjinder, an experienced electrical professional with over a decade of hands-on expertise across residential, commercial, and industrial environments. His career began on the tools, working long days wiring homes and learning the detail of the BS 7671 Wiring Regulations, fault diagnostics, and inspection and testing.
Driven by a desire to do things properly, Jinder built the business around three principles: safety, transparency, and long-term trust. Every electrician on the team is trained to the same standard he sets himself.
No hidden costs, no nasty surprises, no subcontracting. The same Bradford-based engineer who quotes the job is the one who arrives in the van and signs the certificate.
Send photos via WhatsApp, call, or book a free site visit. We will reply promptly and turn around a fixed quote without delay. Call our line for a live ETA based on where we are right now.

Commercial EnquiryEvery quote is free and itemised. The numbers below are starting-from figures for typical Bradford jobs. Your written quote may vary based on access, materials and scope, but you will see the exact total before any work begins.
If anything we install or test is not right after we leave, we come back and fix it free. No quibbles, no charges, no fine print.
If anything below sounds like your house, call us. Most can be diagnosed within an hour and many fixed the same visit.
An RCD trips because something on the circuit is leaking current to earth. We use a clamp meter and circuit-by-circuit isolation to find the exact culprit, usually inside the first hour of the visit.
A loose terminal, oversized load or failed faceplate. Stop using it. Call us for a Bradford callout. We replace the socket and inspect the circuit for further damage.
Usually a loose neutral in the consumer unit or a damaged tail. Could also be a DNO supply fault. We diagnose first and recommend the fix you actually need, not the most expensive one.
C2 means a potential danger. The installation is unsatisfactory and needs remedial work to be made safe. Common C2s include missing earthing, undersized cables and unprotected circuits. We quote remedials at the same visit.
You need a new metal consumer unit if you have a wooden or plastic enclosure, no RCD protection, or an old wire-fuse board. We replace with RCBO consumer units to current 18th Edition standards.
One side of the consumer unit has tripped or a circuit breaker has failed. Could also be a broken neutral. Call our Bradford line and we will tell you when we can be on site. Diagnose, isolate, fix.
Loose connections inside the CU are a fire risk. Stop touching it. Book a Bradford inspection without delay. We tighten or replace as needed, then issue a Minor Works Certificate.
For rentals, every 5 years or sooner if the report recommends. For owner-occupied homes, every 10 years. When in doubt, we offer a free EICR validity check on any existing certificate.
Treat as an emergency. Switch off the circuit at the consumer unit, do not use the socket. Call our emergency line and we will tell you exactly when an engineer can reach you, based on where they are right now.
Local knowledge matters. Victorian back-to-backs need different containment to new builds. Listed buildings need sensitive routing. Letting portfolios need batch scheduling. We have wired every type below across the BD and LS postcodes.
Manningham, Heaton, Headingley, Roundhay. Stone walls, solid floors, sensitive to surface containment.
Apperley Bridge, Allerton Bywater, Wakefield Reach. Modern wiring already to BS 7671, often needing EV chargers and smart home retrofit.
Multi-property EICR rounds with photos, one summary PDF, batched workflow for letting agents and landlords across Bradford and Leeds.
Shops, offices, workshops, surgeries. Fixed-wire testing, planned maintenance, commercial EV bay installs.
Headingley, Hyde Park, Burley. HMO licensing-compliant installations, room-by-room circuit segregation, emergency lighting.
Ilkley villas, Saltaire terraces, listed buildings across the Bradford district. Sensitive containment, minimal disruption, period-appropriate fittings.

"Jinder did a full rewire of our Victorian house that we had just purchased. He gave a lot of care and attention to the planning, preparation and execution of the work. There are a lot of period features. He planned his work around preserving those whereas others would just shrug and say they'd probably get wrecked. His care and attention meant that the programme for the works overran but he kept to the original price agreed in advance. Had a slight issue with one plug socket which came loose a few months later and he came by and fixed it that weekend. Was a really big job and we are really pleased with the result."
"Harjinder did a great job. He was friendly, tidy and professional, letting us know what he was doing. He was efficient and thorough, working safely and checking our pets were safely away before exposing any live wires. Would use this service again."
"Quick and perfect contact from start to finish. Very professional, arrived on time and did an excellent job. Everything was completed quickly and to a high standard. Highly recommend!"
"Harjinder was great. We had an annual electrical safety check and he was very knowledgeable and accommodating to any and all questions I had about the process. Very friendly and polite also. Would highly recommend."
"Top guys, very pleased with our EV charger installation in Armley Leeds. Very pleased with the workmanship, time keeping, tidiness, will definitely be using again."
"Excellent service. Had my old fuse board replaced quickly and neatly. Everything was tested and explained clearly. Would definitely recommend."
"Excellent work. They have done several landlord certificates for my rental properties. They have also wired up outside lights. Excellent chap to work with. Turned up when he said he would and did the jobs to a very high standard. Highly recommended Leeds Bradford Electricians."
"Harjinder is very professional, friendly and just got on with the different parts of the job. Very efficient and professional in completing the work. I am very happy that the work has been completed safely."
